Miss Earth is one of the most prestigious international beauty pageants in the world. Known for its focus on environmental issues, the Miss Earth selection event was held again this year for the 23rd time.
This year, the Miss Earth event has the theme ‘Me Loves Tree’ which involves 85 finalists from various countries. The Miss Earth 2023 event has started since last Tuesday (28/11/2023). However, the grand final was held on Friday (22/12/2023) in Van Phuc City, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
After going through various stages of judging during the quarantine period until the grand final event rolled around, finally the jury decided to crown Drita Ziri from Albania as the winner of Miss Earth 2023. This is the first time for Albania to win the title at Miss Earth.
Interestingly, Drita Ziri is the only finalist from the European region in the last four. She dominated among Vietnamese Do Thi Lan Anh, Filipina Yllana Aduana and Thai Cora Bliault.
Indonesian representative Cindy Inanto also made history in this edition. Cindy successfully made it to the last 12 rounds which became the best achievement for Indonesia throughout the Miss Earth event.
