Kdrama My Perfect Stranger (2023) has reached episode eight. Yoon Hae Joon (Kim Dong Wook) and Baek Yoon Young’s (Jin Ki Joo) efforts to prevent the Woojung-ri serial killer apparently failed. Two more murder cases occurred at almost the same time.

If you have watched episodes 7 and 8 of My Perfect Stranger, there are several characters who show suspicious movements, here. If you forgot, look back at the characters below. Maybe, they are the masterminds!

1. Ko Mi Sook

From the beginning, Ko Mi Sook (Ji Hye Won) was the character who stole the most attention. The draft novel made by Ko Mi Sook and owned by Baek Yoon Young tells a serial murder case with characters and situations similar to the Woojung-ri serial murder. Not to mention that the main character of the novel is a woman.

Ko Mi Sook was also at the location where Lee Jo Young’s (Jung Ga He) body was found. The most suspicious thing is that her face does not look shocked, even enjoying the event. Is Ko Mi Sook the serial killer Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young are looking for?

2. Kim Hae Kyung

Besides Ko Mi Sook, Kim Hae Kyung (Kim Ye Ji) also looks suspicious. Since the beginning, Kim Hae Kyung seems to be Ko Mi Sook’s subordinate. I don’t know what the secret is between the two, but Kim Hae Kyung always obeys Ko Mi Sook’s orders.

In episode eight when the murder occurred, Kim Hae Kyung was also present at the scene of Lee Jo Young’s murder and did not look shocked. He was actually frantic when he met Ko Mi Sook. Ko Mi Sok even said that Kim Hae Kyung’s face looked like he had just killed someone, and he could be made a suspect for it. Ko Mi Sok advises Kim Hae Kyung to relax more.

3. Baek Hee Seob

There are three suspicious things about Baek Hee Seob (Lee Won Jung) in episode eight. First, he seems very protective of Baek Yoo Seob (Hong Seung An), his brother. Baek Yoo Seob himself is one of the people suspected by Yoon Hae Joon as the perpetrator.

The second strange thing is that he seems to be a victim of Ko Mi Sook’s manipulation. Most likely Ko Mi Sook knows the big secret that Baek Hee Seob is very guarded. The last oddity is that he recognizes the cloth with bloodstains as his own and claims to be a murder suspect.

4. Baek Yoo Seob

Yoon Hae Joon already suspects Baek Yoo Seob is involved in the Woojung-ri murder case. There is no file on him in the police records related to the Woojung-ri murder. He is also the owner of a blue hat, one of the suspect’s characteristics. Moreover, Baek Yoo Seob appears to be at the location of Lee Jo Young’s lodging on the night that should be the time of the first murder.

On the night the two victims were found dead, Baek Yoo Seob’s whereabouts were unknown. On the other hand, Baek Hee Seob seemed very protective of his brother. What exactly is Baek Yoo Seob hiding?

Seeing that both murder cases occurred on the same night, it is likely that the Woojung-ri serial killer was actually committed by more than one person. Are the four characters above directly related to the Woojung-ri serial killer? The answer will be found in the next episode of My Perfect Stranger.
