The original work of this drama is from a novel written by a Japanese writer named Maha Harada with the title Tabiya Okaeri. The novel was first published in 2012.
The story presented in the novel concerns the journeys made by former members of the girl group in the process of searching for the meaning of life. The drama adaptation is expected to be able to teach lessons and also touch the hearts of the audience later.

Before being produced into the Korean version, Tabiya Okaeri’s novel was first adapted into a drama in Japan in early 2022. Internationally known as The Long Way Home, the drama stars Sakura Ando, Jun Miho, Tetsuya Takeda, and many more.
Sakura Ando plays the main character Erika Oka. He works as an entertainer and is currently a reporter for a street program. However, the event was stopped due to Erika’s fault. Until then there was a letter asking him to travel in place of the daughter of the letter sender who was sick.

Gong Seung Yeon will officially play the main character played by Sakura Ando in the Korean drama version. This statement was made by VARO Entertainment as the agency that oversees Gong Seung Yeon on March 30.

Following the news of Gong Seung Yeon’s confirmation, Yoo Jun Sang is also confirmed to be playing the role of Oh Sang Sik in the drama I Will Travel You. Oh Sang Sik is the CEO of Ogu Entertainment which houses Kang Yeo Reum. He took a different path from his family who mostly became doctors.
Oh Sang Sik experienced ups and downs because of this choice. He was also a boxer before finally founding an entertainment company. He has known Kang Yeo Reum for more than 15 years. Oh Sang Sik also feels responsible for Kang Yeo Reum for bringing him into the entertainment industry.

Kim Jae Young will play Lee Yeon Seok. He is a graduate of a prestigious technical school and even managed to work in a large company.
