In releasing an album, every KPop idol agency always thinks carefully about the concept of the artist they want to promote. Many factors are taken into consideration in determining a suitable concept that is accepted by the public and sells well in the market.

1. Apink members Chorong and Bomi when they debuted as the sub-unit CHOBOM

Chorong and Bomi used the twin concept when they debuted as a sub-unit of Apink. The group’s sub-unit is known as CHOBOM which stands for their own names. They debuted in July 2022 with the release of the single Copycat.

Just like the meaning of the title of the song they released which is copycat, Chorong and Bomi also look similar to each other with the concept of twins. From makeup, stage outfits, hairstyles, to the choreography for the song, they look like identical twins.

2. Red Velvet members Seulgi and Irene on debut forming a sub-unit

Seulgi and Irene are the first sub-unit of the group Red Velvet to release a mini album. Their mini album titled Monster was released in July 2020. To date, the MV for their sub-unit debut song has been viewed more than 132 million times on Youtube.

Seulgi and Irene look similar with the concept of twins in the Monster mini album photo. The two beauties are also seen wearing matching outfits while appearing on weekly music shows to promote their songs.

3. LE SSERAFIM members in the photo album UNFORGIVEN

LE SSERAFIM recently made a comeback with the release of the album UNFORGIVEN. The MV for the album’s title track was released on May 1, 2023. In the song, they collaborated with Nile Rodgers.

The interesting thing about their comeback this time is that their album release photo uses the concept of twins. In the photo, each member pairs up and poses with matching outfits and poses.

4. ITZY members Ryujin and Yeji on a project with Studio Choom

ITZY members Ryujin and Yeji are like two halves of an areca nut when styled in the same makeup and outfit. They looked like twins when they teamed up with Studio Choom for MIX & MAX Youtube content.

MIX & MAX is a Youtube content owned by Studio Choom that collaborates with two KPop artists in performing cover dance. In the content, Ryujin and Yeji performed a cover dance with Babe Rexha’s song Break my heart myself. Until now, the cover dance has been watched more than 49 million times.

5. Crayon Pop members ChoA and Way while forming the sub-unit Strawberry Milk

ChoA and Way are both twin sisters and members of Crayon Pop which debuted in 2012 with 5 members. Their members consist of Geummi, Ellin, Choa, Way and Soyul who later left in 2017. One of their hits that is known until now is titled Bar bar bar. They released the song with a unique outfit concept using helmets and tracksuits.

As twin sisters who debuted in one group, ChoA and Way also had the opportunity to get a project to become a sub-unit under the name Strawberry Milk. They debuted as a sub-unit with the release of a song called OK in October 2014.
