The Financial Times (FT), a major British economic magazine, announced the list of ‘The 25 most influential women of 2023 by The FT’ on its official website on the 1st.
Aespa is listed in the creator category. She is listed alongside pop singer Beyonce, actress and director Margot Robbie, and fashion designer Phoebe Philo.
The list was selected by the Financial Times after consulting with hundreds of reporters and readers from various bureaus and industry leaders. Aespa was the only K-pop artist selected, demonstrating her popularity.
The Financial Times explained, “While boy groups dominate Korea’s top charts, girl groups are gradually climbing the ranks and creating new sensations.”
