Kim Woo Seok was born as the only child in his family. Woo Seok also took the extreme route to become a barista and had to drop out of school.
However, Woo Seok finally continued his education at Dong Ah Institute of Media and Arts majoring in KPop and Acting in 2016. His decision to enter the entertainment industry was apparently taken after seeing his mother cry.
3. Started his career as a member of UP10TION and X1 and eventually became an actor

After being a trainee for a year, Kim Woo Seok began to enter the music world through his debut with the group UP10TION in 2015. Woo Seok himself used the stage name Wooshin at that time.
His name became known after appearing on the survival program Produce X 101 in 2019. Kim Woo Seok also managed to place second and debuted as X1 in August. However, unfortunately the X1 group had to disband in early 2020 after it was revealed that there was vote manipulation in the show. Woo Seok also decided to leave UP10TION in February 2023.
Apart from being a group member, Kim Woo Seok himself is active as a soloist and actor. His figure stole the spotlight through his role as Kim Jun Hee in Night Has Come (2023).
