Ghibli is back with a new animated film titled The Boy and The Heron (2023). This film is a semi-autobiographical fantasy by Hayao Miyazaki.
Quoted by Tix.id, The Boy and The Heron itself premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. Meanwhile, as reported by Variety, this Ghibli-directed film (until the following article was released) has entered the box office in the United States and earned up to Rp1.5 trillion.

The Boy and The Heron (2023) is about a 12-year-old boy named Mahito who lives in 1943 during the Pacific War. Unfortunately, his mother dies in a fire at a hospital in Tokyo.
Mourning the death of his mother, Mahito chooses to go on an adventure to the world where the living and the dead live. Then, how is Mahito’s adventure? Can his grief be healed? Does he meet the figures who will heal the wound?
