MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023 was successfully held to welcome the turn of the new year on Sunday (31/12/2023). A number of KPop idols were present to give special performances on New Year’s Eve.

Minho SHINee and Hwang Min Hyun appeared as the opening collaborators on the MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023 stage. Appearing in casual winter clothes, they sang Kyuhyun Super Junior’s “Flying, Deep in the Night”.
In addition to collaborating, Minho SHINee and Hwang Min Hyun were also appointed as MCs of MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023, along with Yoona SNSD.
2. Lee Young Ji X Yujin IVE

Known as close friends, Lee Young Ji and Yujin IVE also did not want to be outdone to perform a collaboration on the MBC TV station’s year-end music show.
The two performed the songs “End Of Time” and “Born This Way” in a medley. Not only singing, the bestie who both wore all-white outfits also danced together while singing, you know.

Dynamic Duo’s name has been on the rise lately, as the song “Smoke” performed with Lee Young Ji went viral on social media. Welcoming the excitement of the new year, Dynamic Duo and DJ Frizz collaborated with (G)-IDLE’s leader, Soyeon.
Soyeon (G)-IDLE replaced Lee Young Ji to sing the song “Smoke” with Dynamic Duo. The rap lyrics sung by Soyeon were also completely changed from the original version.
4. Paul Kim X Miyeon (G)-IDLE

Still from the girl group (G)-IDLE, this time it was Miyeon who appeared in collaboration. Together with soloist Paul Kim, the two sang the song “White”.

Performing the song “Picture”, HYOYEON performed badass with dance crew BEBE. Their performance was strong, expressive, and powerful. Plus the dark theme that combines with the concept of hotelier-style outfits.

After the countdown to the new year in the South Korean time zone, MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023 resumed with the most anticipated performances from Hyunjin Stray Kids and Yeji ITZY.
Their collaboration began with Yeji ITZY dancing on a chair, accompanied by Bishop Briggs’ “River”. The performance continued with Hyunjin Stray Kids dancing in front of a mirror, to “Play With Fire” originally sung by Sam Tinnesz feat. Yacht Money.
Still with the last song, the two KPop idols dubbed “twins” by KPopers danced together powerfully. Their collaboration was closed by cheers from the audience who were present watching live.
7. Yoon Sang X RIIZE

RIIZE, the rookie boy group made by SM Entertainment is stealing the show again. A few days before MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023 started, RIIZE was rumored to be collaborating with senior singer Yoon Sang.
The collaboration finally happened. Their performance began with a father and son collaboration, Yoon Sang and Anton RIIZE. Yoon Sang and Anton sang the song “Run”, while each of them played keyboards and volleys.
The song continued to be sung by other RIIZE members. Yoon Sang and RIIZE shared the stage together to collaborate at MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023 until the end.
8. Stray Kids X Tiger JK

Stray Kids was one of the main performers at MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2023. They performed several songs and the sub-unit 3RACHA also enlivened the event. Not only sub-units and full group performances, Stray Kids also duet with Tiger JK on the song “TOPLINE”.
Their collaboration stage was quite attractive with sofa decorations, speakers, and musical instruments. Tiger JK who sang the rap part also appeared no less swag than the other Stray Kids members.
