1. Payback: Money and Power
Payback: Money and Power tells the story of a businessman and trader named Eun Yong (Lee Sun Kyun). He and Park Jun Kyeong (Moon Chae Won) are determined to take revenge against the cartel that conspired with the law. This drama is one of the late Lee Sun Kyun’s last projects. 
2. Crash Course in Romance
This drama tells the struggle of Nam Haeng Seon (Jeon Do Yeon) who raises her nephew like her own child. She eventually gets involved with the most popular math tutor in South Korea, Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho). Crash Course in Romance deals with various issues, from parenting, social inequality, mental health, to murder mysteries. 
3. Agency
There is also Agency starring Lee Bo Young. This kdrama tells the struggle of a woman from the underprivileged to become an executive in her company. She is faced with various problems related to gender inequality.

Lee Hwan is the crown prince who keeps a secret behind his arrogant attitude, while Min Jae Yi is accused of being the murderer of all his members. 
2. The Heavenly Idol
The Heavenly Idol tells the story of Rembrary (Kim Min Kyu), a high priest on a mission to hunt down a demon king on Earth. However, he is suddenly trapped in the body of a KPop idol named Woo Yeon Woo.
3. Taxi Driver 2
The Rainbow Taxi Gang finally made a comeback in Taxi Driver 2. This drama still tells the story of Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon) and his friends who open revenge services for criminals who do not receive proper sanctions.

1. The Glory Part 2
The Glory Part 2 aired on March 10, 2023. This drama continues Moon Dong Eun’s (Song Hye Kyo) struggle for revenge against her bullies in school. One by one the perpetrators get their respective karma. 
2. Duty After School Part 1
Duty After School attracts many young artists, such as Moon Sang Min, Kwon Eun Bin, Im Se Mi, and Shin Hyun Soo. The drama tells the story of a group of high school students who must receive military training after school to fight aliens who invade Earth. 
3. Secret Romantic Guesthouse
Secret Romantic Guesthouse is a sageuk drama starring Shin Ye Eun and Ryeo Un. This drama tells the story of Yoon Dan Oh, a youngest child of a noble family who suddenly lives in poverty and has to make a living on her own. Yoon Dan Oh also runs an inn business named Ihwawon.

2. Doctor Cha
Equally medical-themed, Doctor Cha tells the story of Cha Jeong Suk (Uhm Jung Hwa), a housewife who restarts her career as a doctor. At a young age, she pursues her career by becoming a resident doctor. In the midst of the struggle, she must face her husband’s infidelity. 
3. The Good Bad Mother
The Good Bad Mother tells an emotionally draining parenting story. The drama focuses on Jin Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran), a single mother who runs a pig farm. She raises her son, Choi Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) hard. But one day, Kang Ho has an accident and the incident makes him act like a child.

1. My Perfect Stranger
My Perfect Stranger is one of the Korean dramas that successfully carries the theme of time travel. The drama tells the story of Yoon Hae Joon (Kim Dong Wook) and Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo). Both travel the past, precisely to 1987. Apparently, at that time, there was a serial murder case that occurred. 
2. Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938
Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 is the sequel to Tale of the Nine Tailed (2020). Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) returns to 1938 and meets Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon). He is also reunited with his younger brother, Lee Rang (Kim Bum). He must solve the problems that occurred in 1938 and return to the future. 
3. Bitch X Rich
Bitch X Rich raises the mystery of the murder that occurred at Chungdam High School. Several students became suspects, including Kim Hye In (Lee Eun Saem) to Baek Je Na (Yeri Red Velvet). Behind the mystery, there are many teenage issues discussed, including family problems, bullying, and love stories.

1. See You in My 19th Life
See You in My 19th Life is a Korean drama that tells the story of reincarnation. The drama tells the story of Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hae Sun) who has lived 18 different lives and this is her 19th life. She is looking for a man named Mun Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun) who contributed greatly to her life. 
2. King the Land
King the Land successfully became the most popular kdrama throughout 2023. Apart from starring two top stars, the story is typical of romcom kdrama favored by many people. King the Land tells the story of Goo Won (Lee Junho), the heir to The King Group who struggles to maintain his position. He is involved in a loveline with Cheon Sa Rang (Lim Yoona), a cheerful King Hotel employee who completes Goo Won’s life. 
3. Revenant
Meanwhile, Revenant tells the story of a young woman named Gu San Yeong (Kim Tae Ri). She is possessed by a spirit that changes her personality. Together with Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se), a professor of folklore, she is determined to solve the mystery of the spirit.

2. D.P. 2
D.P. 2 continues the story of Ahn Jun Ho (Jung Hae In) and Han Ho Yeol (Koo Kyo Hwan) who are tasked with finding deserters or those who have escaped from the camp. Each deserter soldier has their own reasons. Meanwhile, bullying practices still occur in Ahn Jun Ho and Han Ho Yeol’s camp.
3. The Uncanny Counter 2
The Uncanny Counter 2 continues the struggle of the Counters in hunting down evil spirits that endanger humans. Their challenges in this season are much tougher as the evil spirits are getting stronger.

1. The First Responders 2
The First Responders 2 tells the story of firefighters who are faced with a mysterious case. In the city of Taewon, there was a sudden case of serial arson. Detective Jin Ho Gae (Kim Rae Won), firefighter Bong Do Jin (Son Ho Jun), and their team risk their lives to solve this mystery. 
2. Moving
Moving is also a phenomenal Korean drama in 2023 thanks to its unique story. This drama tells the story of a group of superhumans with different powers. Some can fly, have regeneration abilities, and can move quickly. They are faced with a number of problems, including facing other superhumans from North Korea.
3. Mask Girl
Mask Girl tells the story of Kim Mo Mi (Lee Han Byul) who throughout her life was considered not to meet South Korean beauty standards. She dreams of becoming a diva and realizes it by becoming a live streamer with a mask. She uses the pseudonym Mask Girl.

1. A Time Called You
A Time Called You tells the story of a complicated cross-time journey. It is said that Han Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Bin) has just lost her lover, Koo Yeon Jun (Ahn Hyo Seop). Suddenly, she time traveled to 1998 and found that she was in someone else’s body, namely Kwon Min Ju (Jeon Yeo Bin). In that time, she met a man who was very similar to her lover. He is named Nam Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop).
2. Twinkling Watermelon
Still carrying the time travel genre, there is also Twinkling Watermelon. This drama tells the story of Ha Eun Gyeol (Ryeo Un), a child of two deaf parents. He suddenly traveled through time and met his parents who were still in high school. Apparently, the father, Ha Yi Chan (Choi Hyun Wook) at that time, was still living a normal life. 3. The Worst of Evil

Doona! is a Netflix original drama that tells the life of a KPop idol who is not as beautiful as in front of the camera. It is said that Lee Doona (Bae Suzy) is an idol who is on hiatus due to mental health problems. She lives in a small share house and there, she meets Lee Won Jun (Yang Se Jong).
2. Castaway Diva
Castaway Diva focuses on the life of Seo Mok Ha (Park Eun Bin) who has just been released from a desert island. She starts a new life and is determined to realize her dream of becoming a singer. 
3. A Good Day to be A Dog
A Good Day to be A Dog raises an interesting romance-fantasy genre. This drama tells the story of Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young) who is cursed to become a dog every time he kisses the opposite sex. Unintentionally, when she was drunk, she kissed her coworker, Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo). 

11. November 2023

1. Daily Dose of Sunshine
Daily Dose of Sunshine tells the struggle of Jung Da Eun (Park Bo Young), a nurse at a mental hospital. She must face patients who have different psychological disorders. 
2. Vigilante
Kim Ji Yong (Nam Joo Hyuk) is told to have two identities. During the day, he is a student at the Police Academy. But at night, he turns into a Vigilante, a dark hero who wants to teach criminals a lesson. 
3. My Demon
My Demon has successfully become one of the most crowded dramas at the end of this year. The drama tells the story of Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung), a Future Group heiress whose life is threatened. She then meets a demon named Gu Won (Song Kang). The two decide to contract marriage for their respective interests. 

12. December 2023

Finally, at the end of 2023, here are some interesting dramas that aired:
1. Sweet Home 2
Sweet Home 2 continues the story of Cha Hyun Su (Song Kang), a teenage boy who experiences monsterization. On the other hand, the surviving residents of the Green Home apartment, including Lee Eun Yu (Go Min Si), must survive amidst monster attacks.
2. Gyeongseong Creature
Set in 1945, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story of Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee). Both come from different backgrounds, but must help each other smuggle into Ongseong Hospital, which turns out to be a place of human experimentation. 
3. Night Has Come
A group of high school students on a field trip are suddenly forced to play a mafia game. Different from the usual mafia game, this game really gets them killed one by one. The mafia is asked to finish off the citizens, while the students who play the role of citizens must find who the mafia is among them.
