At the beginning of his career as an actress, Shin Hyun Bin had his own fears. The fear was present, when he had to show his acting skills in front of others.
That fear eventually made Shin Hyun Bin feel in tune and relate to Jung Mo Eun’s character. He also tried to channel the same fear into Jung Mo Eun, in a scene in the drama Tell Me That You Love Me.
“In the drama, you will see me playing a role on the theater stage and have my own fear. I poured out that fear, just as I was afraid when I was just starting my career. So, it really resonated with me (as an actress),” Shin Hyun Bin recalled at the Tell Me That You Love Me press conference, Monday (11/27/2023).
2. Jung Mo Eun is told to have many support systems, Shin Hyun Bin also feels it in real life

In the drama, Jung Mo Eun is told to have many friends who become her support system. Her friends always support Jung Mo Eun, so she finally has the courage to keep striving for her dreams. Apparently, even in real life Shin Hyun Bin has many people who always support her, you know.
“I saw that there were many friends who were with her (Jung Mo Eun), just like me. The supporting roles of Jung Mo Eun’s friends reminded me of how when you have the support of your friends and loved ones, it gives you courage,” said Shin Hyun Bin.
Thanks to the love and affection of my friends and loved ones, Shin Hyun Bin realized that she finally had the courage to face challenges as an actress.
“After turning 30, I had a stable career and started something completely new. Some say (I’m) very brave, some say careless. However, I got love and support from my loved ones. That’s something I received from them as I faced challenges as an actress,” Shin Hyun Bin continued.
3. Shin Hyun Bin thinks that Jung Mo Eun’s character and her life will relate to those in their 30s and 40s.

When asked about how Jung Mo Eun is, Shin Hyun Bin said that the character has two different sides. It can be seen when Jung Mo Eun is alone and with Cha Jin Woo. However, it turns out that the difference in nature is also a struggle for Shin Hyun Bin.
“I feel a struggle and I think it’s because of Jin Woo. She (Jung Mo Eun) is the type who thinks a lot and tends to be cautious. However, when dealing with Jin Woo’s character, she becomes more proactive and brave,” Shin Hyun Bin said.
Shin Hyun Bin also thinks, if Tell Me That You Love Me will be very relate to those who are 30-40 years old. Because, the drama itself tells a classic romance between a man and an adult woman.
“For those who are 30-40 years old, is it always easy to start a love story when you’ve been through a lot? I would say no. Those stories will be featured a lot in this drama. So, I think this drama will relate to those of you in your 30s and 40s,” Shin Hyun Bin concluded.
Tell Me That You Love Me presents a classic love story between a painter and an actress. Their story can already be seen on Disney+ Hotstar starting November 27, 2023.
