The year 2023 is a very meaningful and unforgettable moment for pageant lovers around the world. There are five prestigious beauty events held throughout 2023. Among them are Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International, Miss International, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth.
Well, this time Pop Asian Times has summarized the winners of the five prestigious beauty events crowned in 2023. Let’s take a look!
1. Miss Supranational 2023 – Andrea Aguilera

Miss Supranational 2023 took place from June 26 to July 14, 2023 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. There were 65 finalists involved to compete for the Miss Supranational 2023 crown.
At the end of the competition, Andrea Aguilera representing Ecuador emerged as the winner. She made history as the first Ecuadorian woman to win the Miss Supranational crown.
2. Miss Grand International 2023 – Luciana Fuster

The grand final of Miss Grand International 2023 took place on Wednesday (25/10/2023) at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As the climactic moment of the competition, Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin crowned Peru’s Luciana Fuster as her successor.
She emerged victorious among the 68 finalists who participated in the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant. After Maria Jose Lora’s victory in 2017, this is Peru’s second win at Miss Grand International. In fact, Peru became the first country to record more than two wins.
3. Miss International 2023 – Andrea Rubio

Venezuela’s Andrea Rubio has won the Miss International 2023 crown. She was crowned at the end of the grand final held on Thursday (26/10/2023) at the National Yayogi Gymnasium 2, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
Andrea Rubio became the 9th Miss International winner from Venezuela. Thus, Venezuela has recorded victories in 1985, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2018, and 2023.
4. Miss Universe 2023 – Sheynnis Palacios

A new historical record was made at the Miss Universe 2023 event. At the 72nd Miss Universe grand final event that rolled out on Saturday (11/18/2023) at the Gymnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda, San Salvador, El Salvador, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua was crowned the winner.
Yup, Sheynnis Palacios made history as the first Miss Universe winner from Nicaragua. This is also the first victory for a country in the Central American Region.
Even so, Panama’s Justine Pasek is often referred to as the first Miss Universe winner from Central America. However, she served as Miss Universe 2002 by replacing Oxana Fedorova from Russia who had to leave her position.
5. Miss Earth 2023 – Drita Ziri

Miss Earth 2023 was the last beauty event held in 2023. Taking place from November 28 to December 22, 2023 in Vietnam, the 23rd Miss Earth election event involved 85 finalists from various countries.
At the peak event which rolled on Friday (22/12/2023) Van Phuc City, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Albanian representative Drita Ziri was crowned the winner of Miss Earth 2023. She successfully made history as the first Miss Earth winner from Albania.
